To me, upscaling furniture is not simply about making something larger, grander, or more visually dominant. It is about giving an object a second life with greater dignity. Every piece of furniture carries memory, of the hands that made it, spaces it occupied, lives it supported, and time it quietly witnessed. When I upscale furniture, I am not erasing its past; I am listening to it. I try to understand what the piece still wants to become. Design, for me, is a dialogue between utility and emotion. A chair is never just a chair, a table is never just a surface. These objects shape how we sit, gather, pause, work, and belong. By upscaling them, we transform not only their form but also their meaning. I believe furniture should not merely fill a room; it should carry a story, hold presence, and create emotional connection.

Upscaling, therefore, becomes an act of restoration, imagination, and reverence. It is where design meets consciousness, and where an ordinary object is invited to become extraordinary again. It is about celebrating what you have by transforming it into what you want.
